Open Channel
The flow measurement in open channels with the hydraulic projection method is carried out with the use, inside the channel or partially filled pipe, of a hydraulic modeler, a probe for measuring the level (in this case ultrasonic, without contact with the liquid itself) and an associated control unit for converting the level into the corresponding instantaneous flow rate.
